We're Here to Help

Advocacy, referrals, and parent-to-parent support for families raising children with mental health challenges.

Advocacy

We speak up for the people who need it most. MSP-CAN teaches parents how to advocate for their own children and offers training that helps you grow into a family leader. Key benefits: families, youth, caregivers, and professionals can join upcoming events, trainings, and conferences to build awareness of children’s mental health issues.

Referrals

We share information with anyone who asks and connect parents and families to trusted local professionals. We help you learn about children’s mental health needs and the supports available in your region or across the state. Key benefits: get information (brochures, literature, and/or websites) matched to your specific need(s); learn about children’s mental health, treatment, and support services; and receive useful details for whatever your family needs — from free trainings to medical and dental information.

Support

We stand with our communities and neighbors every day. MSP-CAN offers one-on-one support from parents and caregivers who have lived experience raising their own children with mental health challenges — people who understand the unique struggles you may be facing. Key benefits: chances to join parent-to-parent support groups; 1:1 individual support from any staff member; and the knowledge, coping skills, and support system that help parents share concerns with others in similar situations and secure the best possible services for their children.
